Founded in 1933, Skovby was created with a vision of sustainable and functional furniture design, which later generations of the same family have since carried on.

The small one-man workshop quickly changed to facilitate complete dining room set ups, and within 20 years transformed into manufacturing full product lines.  The development led to an international network, with a healthy organic growth which continued to focus on the original sustainable business model of natural materials and craftsmanship.

Today Skovby is known for their special talent to combine functionality with great design.  Their furniture is valued after many years of use, with a certain flow and efficiency in life each and every day, which is the core of their success.
