Our Hedge End Furniture Store on the outskirts of Southampton and our Romsey Carpet Store boasts a wide selection of carpets for you to choose, ranging from 100% man-made to 100% wool, in a vast array of styles and colours.
A selection of our woollen ranges has received moth protection treatment in the manufacturing process, helping to prevent premature wearing and giving you peace of mind.

We have over 30 different rug ranges on display across our Hedge End and New Milton furniture stores, as well as our Romsey carpet store, plus many other options available to order. Our rugs come in several different dimensions to suit the design of rug, and to fit most room sizes, including circular rugs and runners for your hallway.
We often have a selection of ex-display clearance rugs in store. Please visit or contact our Hedge End Furniture Store just east of Southampton or our Romsey Carpet Store to see what we have available.
We have a great selection of underlay, including PU, 100% recycled, felt, memory foam, and even ones appropriate for underfloor heating. Underlay will provide a softer feeling underfoot, giving you a better walking surface, and is great for sound absorption as well as improving thermal insulation.
We can advise which underlay is best suited to your needs and flooring choice.

Our flooring service doesn’t stop at the showroom, as we have an expert team of self-employed carpet and flooring fitters ready to install your new floor covering. They are experienced in all types of floor laying, and their professional workmanship will ensure your new floor is finished to your satisfaction.
The fitting costs will be discussed with you at the point of selecting your new carpet or hard flooring. The cost will differ based on the size of room and the materials required. You are more than welcome to arrange your own fitter or lay the flooring yourself, however, to guarantee an expert level of fitting and finishing, we highly recommend using one of our fitters.
Measuring a room sounds like an easy task, but you’d be surprised how easy it can be to get it wrong. As each new floor is ordered to the area of your room it’s important to get it right. That’s why we offer a free no obligation estimation service. Our flooring estimator will visit your property, measure your rooms, and then calculate how much carpet or hard flooring is required.

We’d love to give you a ballpark figure, however, there are many factors that will affect the total cost, such as your exact room size, the square metre price of carpet or hard flooring, and any underlay or accessories. The main types of carpet we offer are 100% synthetic, a mix of wool and synthetic, and 100% wool. Hard flooring options are engineered wood, luxury vinyl tile (LVT), laminate, and vinyl.
Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) is a fantastic floor covering widely praised for its durability and water resistance, with a wide range of designs available from straight plank to herringbone, and stone effect to eye-catching patterns.
There isn’t a “one underlay fits all” as this will depend on your room type and personal preferences. We have a large choice of different underlays for you to pick from, all of which you can experience in store while learning the benefits of each one.
We certainly can, as we have a team of self-employed carpet and hard flooring fitters ready with their expertise to give you the perfect fit.
Having measured your room and created a plan, we ensure waste carpet is kept to a minimum. However, should the room layout result in an offcut, we offer a whipping service whereby the edges of the offcut have a continuous band of stitches to stop the fraying. Some great uses are hallway runners, door mats, or floor protectors.
We have a range of rugs on display for you to view and take away the same day, and we can also order in anything not in stock.
We have toilets within our Hedge End store. If you’re visiting our Romsey store, they are located within the main department store across the road.
